After not being able to find men's shirts that will fit my new measurements, my wife agreed with me that on-line shopping in the women's sizes actually works for me. I'm a women's regular XL18 in shirts. I fit perfectly their chest/bust, waist, and sleeve lengths. So, I shopped online at Land's End and grabbed 5 mock turtleneck shirts in various colors. Here's the link. https://www.landsend.com/products/womens-relaxed-cotton-long-sleeve-mock-turtleneck/id_302525?attributes=32671,44967

Womanhood is not defined by breasts, and breasts are not indicative of womanhood. - Melissa Fabello

Personally, I wouldn't call it Feminizing.  We all shop to buy clothing and fill our wardrobe with things that fit and look there best.  I for one shop to make me look my best.
That being said,  I'm delighted you came to the decision together to find and buy what best fits you and makes you look your best.
Well done!

Well said, Orb.

I think the majority (I learned a long time ago to never say everyone) of us who wear feminine pieces do so for the very reason stated. I know I do. We all want to look our best and for some of us, women's undergarments and tops just fit our bodies better than male clothing. That certainly doesn't make us cross dressers, or wannabe women. We dress for necessity and not desire or fetish. Am I physically more comfortable in a bra and women's top that fits? Yes I am. Why? I have breasts that need supporting and a top that fits my shape. When those are offered in the Men's section, I will look there. If and until that occurs, the Women's section is the only place I have those options. And I have found if you are honest with the sale clerks in the Women's section, 90% of the time, you will get a fair shake. Come in creepy and the experience will be less than pleasant.

Just my two cents.

We are more like crossdressers if we wear men’s tops.

This is not feminising or crossdressing in the general ignorant societal understanding of the words and might be better avoided

Crossdressing is usually understood as going to extreme lengths to appear and be accepted as a woman.
Feminising usually is associated with transitioning and taking hormones to enhance the bust etc

Not being judgemental but if either of these definitions fit you you may wish to consider a different site. I say this as as a 100% heterosexual male who now shops in the womens aisles most of the time. Clothes are clothes  - I wear for comfort - period.

I post this, not out of intolerance, but out of experience of what can happen when the morals police start trolling on here. I am now happily back on the site under a different ID. The offending members seem to have retired or been struck off!!

Clothes do not have gender. Choose what is comfortable. Enjoy what is comfortable unapologetically. I do.

Plenty on here that share that view but would baulk a bit at "Feminising" or "crossdressing" as is commonly understood.
Enjoy the journey, there are plenty here to support

I have to admit I had a hard time with this thread at first.
Feminizing My Wardrobe,  by sound and definition makes us believe a wig is on the shelf above the hanging clothes.  Mychal Bloodwing, I don't think that was your intent.  I'm, from what I know here, am happy you are where you are.  We all buy what fits.
I like how Busted & Happy put it.  I left this site for a while because I felt like I was a part of a subset of the culture that being a man, liked to dress as a woman.  I rejoined for the support of men needing to navigate life as a man with gifts.  I like, and look for advice from "gifted" men.  Living as and happy to be, a man.
I don't want to be associated with those seeking the thrill factor from dressing as a woman.  I do however respect those that had an extra dose that I didn't get and have those urges.  I was hopping this site was for gifted men.  I'm sure there are sites for the others.
Not trying to run this off track, just felt I needed to make a suttle point.
Again, I mean this with no disrespect.

I could go on the biblical aspect  but consider that women's clothing are specifically designed for what?
Women's bodies and expression of womanhood.
It was not men with gyno that took it upon themselves to change the industry, it was social aspects and the industry trying to be "politically correct" where the changes occurred, and moreover the 'crossdressing' aspect is more female directed than male directed. Ergo, more women's clothing are now mimicking men's clothing from the past, (plad shirts anyone) only cut to fit a woman's shape.

Well guess what? that line was crossed long ago and now those very same tops are being utilized by men both with and without the 'package" Why/ because they FIT, and moreover no longer scream male or female.

so unless your trying to be obvious about it, I think were at the stage where no one cares and no one will notice.

Wear what fits!

Taxmapper.
I bought all the clothes that I wear (largely from the women's aisles).
I am a man, they belong to me ergo they are man's clothes.

For anyone who wants to go biblical about wearing women's clothes, firstly style was virtually indistinguishable. Also they need to be aware that not many verses away clothing of mixed fibres is also roundly condemned in much the same terms .
To paraphrase "Let him who is without a polycotton garment caste the first stone."

Oh, Gee Whiz! I mean "feminizing" as in not wearing drab colors and being able to wear clothes that are constructed with softer materials that feel better on my breasts and are fitted more in line with my body measurements!!!!!

I'm sorry that this 72 year old Jesuit-trained male pushes buttons because I don't word things correctly. So, I'll just remove myself from making y'all feel weirded-out. But I tell you, men could do with a bit more of thinking and feeling like a female...it would make this world a better place.

Goodbye!

Oh Mychal you are a little techy.
Just speaking for myself I was just concerned that you might get trolled of the site if it were misunderstood. I suffered and wanted to save you from from those Probs.
The words you were using have a bit of history on this site that you are perhaps unaware of.

If I offended you I am most sincerely sorry.
I really hope that that goodbye was not your final word

there is no offence intended.

the point i was trying to make is that it isn't an issue in this world any longer.

Wear what fits.

softer co0lors on a guy is something I have had issues with from a young age.

personally, I am partial to soft lavender and pastel greens myself, but such piping is nearly found on men's clothing that speaks of nicely dressed.

I can say for myself that when I’m looking at clothes online, I don’t look in the men’s section of websites anymore.  I almost all of the time look at the women’s section.  Mostly for tops because they are made to accommodate boobs and the has the chance to fit better.
While I don’t have a curvy, feminine body from the waist down, I’ve tried on women’s jeans and boyshorts underwear.  They actually fit me quite well.  Over time, I can see myself buying a lot of my clothes from the women’s section.  I like how soft they are and the selection is much bigger than it is for men.
