 Very much agreed. I used to think from a very direct perspective. Not much feeling behind it just this makes sense and go at it. Now it’s very drawn out processes of emotional thought and perspective. 
Emotions are higher and much more empathetic. As a man I try to keep things dialed in but it gets away from me sometimes. 
What had entertained or engaged me in entertainment of activity and discussions before don’t really much anymore in terms of the testosterone driven conversations.

Re Mammograms,

Worked with strong, opinionated RNs my whole life. Operating Rooms. A lunch table discussion re mammograms ensued one day. I spent the majority of time listening. Near the end of lunch I said I empathized with the women & the love hate relationship with the machine. But no more. I quickly added I now sympathize because I just had my first one , no fun. The quizzical looks were slow in coming after the surprised hostility looks after the ‘But no more’ remark. 

That I had a mammogram then sank in. It was an interesting moment.

Those closest to me as coworkers started offering me condolences due to the presumed smallness of the male breast& the difficulties in squishing in the procedure . Got some stares & questions after I pressed the scrub top to my sternum revealing my budding bosom. 
That was years ago.

That’s when I started to feel I was on the ‘spectrum’. Now I am definitely in deep with zero T & a step into eunuchism.

We've discussed often the reality that contrary to what Madison Avenue would tell us, those stereotypes of what it means to be a "man" or a "woman" simply don't apply in the real world.  We each have our own stew of hormones playing in our bodies, producing a wide range of body types and associated emotional experiences.  A bit more testosterone and the man's body and energy will get closer to the Marlboro Man.  But I doubt he will ever show up on this website.  A bit more estrogen and the woman's body  and energy will get closer to who...Sophia Loren?  Marilyn Monroe?  Raquel Welch?  

It is pretty clear that men here are carrying diminished testosterone which allows estrogen to play with our bodies and our minds.  I guess part of this question is how we express in our lives the reality that estrogen has given us breasts.  It seems a bit of a variation on the theme I explore with the question of whether we have a breast fetish.  Personally I don't wear tights or panties or any article of women's clothing EXCEPT a brassiere.  I have a beard that has graced my face for 57 years.  I am a man with a body that has been softened by estrogen over the years.  I'm content with this life and this body... though I'd be happy to lose a bit of weight.  I'm delighted that I can talk about these things with others exploring this territory... regardless of how they express themselves.  Estrogen really makes it much easier to get a long with folks...

Sorry to hear that Bob. But hope it’s an easy path ahead in future appointments and experiences. I imagine you get to an age where becoming chemically a eunuch is what it is territory. But hope it hasn’t been hard to adjust and deal with. 

42, absolutely agreed. Would I enjoy a life better where I’m not quite 40 and have a typical male chest and body shape. Sure. Do I feel out of place with my body type knowing boobs don’t quite look right due to more athletic build. Yeah. But I’ve tried therapies and medicines over the last year or so to balance things and every time it doesn’t work or makes me feel so different in a not good way. I’m convinced my baseline hormonally has acclimated to estrogen dominance in the degree that it is. And recalibrating it is why my body fights it rather comforts it. 
I’ve learned to just let go of it and let what may be be and adjust as I need to if changes continue over the years. 
In the end long as I’m healthy and family is happy I’m good.

I’m on the path, women’s clothing is so interesting.  I need some new jeans As my current ones don’t fit due to weight loss and my inability to keep them on my waist.  Will look at high rise jeans and see if i end up across the aisle. 

I now have two products that i put on my face each night and morning for skin damage and face oil.  Seems to be helping .  I bought a concealer along with it at the SA’s suggestion but haven’t tried using it yet.

Got tired of my fingernails splitting and breaking into the bed, so i got some oil and nail strengthening for them.

All things that i wouldn’t have done a few years ago (because I didn’t)

I am able to look back over time at certain seminal events. To be a Eunuch was not a crisis it would be at 20. 
At 73 the first thing to notice was the physical changes , loss of muscle mass, hair, bones feel different, weaker ?. Add on a 2 year post castration evaluation and the calmness, feelings of equanimity, and the thoughts change. Everything is different in this perception. It’s kinda nice, as it’s always a good day … even when life derails your train.

I’m glad you’ve found peace within the chaos. My left fella has been in pain for weeks and even with pain can’t imagine losing one let alone both. I’m glad you’ve found a great silver lining in the situations life has thrown
