Not sure about one brand being better than others. I think they are just more fitted in the hips and butt. Try a pair it might be just what your looking for.

I can only say how they worked for me.

Torrids boyfriend jeans were ok but not my favorites. Here's why. The boyfriend jeans are modeled after men's jeans. While there is more room in the seat and hips than regular men's jeans and they have some degree of stretch, I didn't find they worked well for me.

My favorite jeans are my Torrid Girlfriend jeans they have a perfect cut with a mid rise waist. The tapered leg and skinny jean cut are perfect. I also really like their bombshell jeans which are very similar.

Torrid also has some great jeggings which are very comfortable and the stretch denim lasts as long as your wearing them. You don't have to worry about having a saggy bottom. You just want to be careful about your underwear. You can't wear boxers because they WILL show through.

It appears we got derailed here. Jumped tracks so to speak.   I believe this is an important topic which needs to be discussed however, I just wanted to say I feel its a continuation of the issue in regards to Johndoe1 in the post "Why Not".
Not a problem here just stating what I feel to be true.  Like I said I will continue to read and learn as these new issues arise, pun intended, for me.
That being said wear what fits, period.  Women have been bending the gender rules for decades and wearing what makes them comfortable.  Can't we all? I just don't have that problem.  I have literally worked my butt off.

Again I welcome your feed back and value each response.

That being said, I have been wearing this past week and weekend and have found it to be a very pleasant relief.  From cold and movement.  I have read in another post of the continued discussion about Torriod bras.  ABWG stated " You will want to check out Torrids 360 smooth and sexy collection.  They have a smooth spandex band, smooth molded cups, and front strap adjustments. (Nice I think).  They really are the smoothest appearing bra that I have ever worn. They are also very comfortable."  There is an outlet very close to me.  I will keep that in mind I gain confidence.  I did wear a sweater over an under shirt and the thin underwire I have and found it does tend to lay things flat and I feel make a better profile.  Still working up the confidence.

  • If you gat um flunt um.
While I have avoided saying anything on this site for a while I do think I have to say something here.  You all know about my surgery but what you may not know is that I lost 20 pounds while I was in the hospital.  I an 5 foot 6 and now am 144 lb. When I came out and got off the oxygen I was able to go outside with out an escort to drive me.  The first thing I put on was a pair of shorts and they fit fine but it turned out that the wife had placed those in my closet by mistake, a fortunate one for me.  They were a size 10 P and fit perfectly.  I was still wearing the colostomy bag and had no idea what my waste size was.  I also found some of here jeans and tried those on and fit just fine as well.  Since then I have been wearing nothing but women's jeans.  They fit and I also found out they were cheaper than men's jeans.  So my reason for wearing them has nothing to do with hip size since I still have a man's butt but simple comfort and fit.  Although I still to shop around because like any clothes an 8P, 10P and 12P can all fit or not.
If you got them flaunt them.  We all wear bras so wear what you like and to hell with the rest.

I have read some of your past post and yes you have gone through a lot this last year.  Sorry.  I'm glad your feeling better and are coping.
It's a process and you must give it time.  Don't be a stranger and do keep reaching out and seeking comfort and guidance from those around you.
