Strange aspect that is odd perhaps.. but strangely exciting.

I saw a picture of a attractive woman in a leather corset.
My breasts started aching instantly and I wanted the corset!

I'm weird!

That was when I started taking Midol for everything from achy breasts to headache.

♥️Sophie♥️
Sophie,

I have been taking Tylenol for my issues.  I have heard of Midol.  I believe it is for menstrual cramps, as I had three daughters.  How is Midol different from Tylenol?

Hey sweetie!

This comes directly from Midol:

Up to six hours of period symptom relief
Relieves period cramps, bloating, water-weight gain, fatigue, muscle ache, backache and headache
Contains acetaminophen (a pain reliever), as well as caffeine (a diuretic) and pyrilamine maleate (an antihistamine) to fight fatigue and bloating.

I can say that I haven't taken anything else over the counter for headaches or sore breasts since I started using Midol. I know that even though I don't have a menstrual cycle, I do have a monthly estrogen cycle. Those of you here that also have breasts are likely on some estrogen cycle as well. If you start a diary and document the times when your breasts feel sore or swollen and you seem to fill your bras a bit more, you may see a pattern forming. This may indicate that you are finishing up your cycle. Once you establish your time-line, you can start taking Midol a couple days before and reduce your symptoms 😊. Girl talk can be so informative and good for your health ♥️😊👭

I cycle about every 28 days, and it lasts a few days. 😉

Interesting that transitioning individuals that 'take' estrogen also 'cycle'. Many of the girls on the Transgender Pulse site have noted that as well.

Estrogen 'cycles', and it doesn't matter if it's from estrogen dominance or HRT.

I have figured my cycle to be approximately 32 days. It can vary though. I would love to be 28 days. It would be easier to remember like every 4th Sunday to get ready. It is what it is. I know that some of the ladies at work swear that they are all on the same cycle, that they have synchronized with each other. I wish mine would synchronize too!!! 😊👭

I just wonder...

I've never had my E level tested, but I do get my T level tested regularly. It is low-ish (normally 400 to 500) but still within the normal 300-1000 range.

I definitely feel like I go through phases where my inner self swings from one to the other, like a slow moving pendulum. Sometimes I question why I have allowed myself to physically manifest myself in they way that I have, and other times I question why I haven't gone further. I just wonder...

Maybe I should keep a diary and see whether it shows a pattern!

You should keep a log. I post start dates on my calendar.

I'm on the same schedule as a few CNA's that work with me.
Of course it does vary, and sometimes it's way off. 😲 might be because of stress right now.

I started a week ago and I should have been starting this weekend.
It will work itself back into sync again. 😉

If you happen to have a smart phone, there is an app called My Calendar-Period Tracker that most of the ladies, including myself use. There is some of the app that won't be applicable but, it does give you a place to log things such as mood swings, cramps, swollen or sore breasts. It gives you some interesting data that may help you predict what kind of day or week you may have. 👭😊♥️

Wow, I just downloaded it. It looks interesting. Thanks hun 💋

Update: I have played with the options in the app and it's going to be much better than just using my calendar. 😘

Who would have thought this conversation would go here... to estrogen cycles?  Yet our breasts didn't magically appear, they are the result of diminishing testosterone, which gives free reign to the estrogen our body also produces.  I'm not aware of any particular symptoms tied to a cycle but then Ii don't tend to be especially sensitive to what is happening in my body.  The presence of breasts is obvious so I don't miss them.  I'll keep this in mind should I begin having body sensations I can't explain.

It's part of the package with many of us. Just logging symptoms and the cycles become obvious. 😉🤗

The centre is quite the experience.

The staff and participants know that I am AMAB, yet some of the participants will still address me as 'ma'am or hun'. ☺️

Management doesn't believe in 'gender fluidity', but the participants have their own thoughts about that.
From what you've shared with us Birdie it is probably not completely accurate to describe yourself as AMAB.  I doubt other men here are carrying an undeveloped uterus in their bodies.  Ambiguous genitalia definitely complicates many things for parents and ultimately for the child... regardless of whether anything was done surgically to deal with it.  I believe attitudes have been changing on that matter over the years... but you were born at a time parents felt compelled, perhaps at the urging of their doctor, to "solve" the problem.  Hence you lived your life as a boy, then a man, then a husband and father.  I'm sure you're grateful for the children in your life but clearly you are now setting the record straight... something that is a bit mind-bending for folks wedded to binary gender simplicity.  I appreciate all you do to express yourself as a woman.  As I've said often, this is not a one size fits all journey for men with breasts.

Intersex is the closest description of the physical attributes. Woman fits the gender affiliation I present.

Seems some of the population has a major problem with there being more than 'two' boxes to check. 😐
