Being barrel chested helps me avoid people realizing how big mine are. I've walked into a few bra shops that didn't notice I was wearing a bra till I said so. Currently 40F/G but somewhat shallow/wide root as of last measurement. Lost 40lbs and went down from a 44D/DD so, now my breasts enter the room before me. Can't hid them fully, So I tend to dress to suppress their outline and full size.

I have noticed a recent reduction in posting (at least in the portion of the site that I frequent).  In many ways, I believe this is a healthy indication of true acceptance.  How do you feel about it?

Been meaning to chime in on this thread. I am a 40DD/42D, although broad shouldered, I show chest on some level regardless, and generally prefer some form of support for it. It's summer heat and humidity so I go braless more often, but nearing 60, there are a lot of older guys that show too in tees and polos so it is a lot easier not to worry about it... although I still am careful about clothing choices to look the best I can.

  Well I was out and about all morning running around doing small projects for people.  I most always have a two pocket fishing shirt on.  I will typically have 2-3 buttons undone, just above the gore.  Well today I was heading home and I noticed my 4th button was undone.  With movement and the breeze the sides of the cups and underwire was there to see.  Nothing was ever said so I just have to smile and continue on.

I believe it is a garment that I wear keep me comfortable.  Hot here, so I wear braletts that are able to conceal.  They do a great job, but compress my chest more than I like. 

When cooler, I wear wireless bras that are more comfortable and able to hide under layers.  I'm only a 40"C".  I can manage the show.

I can appreciate that oldguy.  I just spent several weeks  in southern Texas and I didn't dress in nice supportive underwires like I do in the upper midwest.  Today I had my Ever Flexing underwire in Lavender/Sage on over a white and light blue patterned fishing shirt.  That one comes in Alpha sizing so an XL in this fit like my 40C-D cup underwire Wacoal bras.  Its not one to push my breast forward but gives nice support, shaping and comfort.  My issue is I do need front or back hook.

Texas is a world of its own, speaking from someone that lives here. 

Luckly, everyone just assumes by my breast size and long hair that I am 100% female, and leaves me alone. 

The day-centre knows otherwise,  and I catch all kinds of hell from them. They are very vocal about things. Not much I can do about the way I was born. 

They have mentioned twice about Masectomy and dozens of times about cutting my hair.  Sorry, but not me. I'm not willing to endure surgery so that others feel more comfortable.

Just a girl,  Every time I read your post I understand completely your position and theirs.  I can empathize with you.

  I travel there 3-4 times a year as I have family in San Antonio and Houston.  I am friends with so many there and have to restrain my thoughts and conversations based on biases held onto so tightly there. 

  I'm proud of how you hold yourself in that environment.  Knowing when and where to push takes wisdom and courage.  To believe, know, understand in the science is freeing.  For others to live with blinders on and not see reality for what it is a pity.  They are just welcoming ignorance and relishing in it.  I have always tried to SEE people for who they are not how I want them to be.  No one will ever have to, or be forced to  fit into a box I build.
