As changes over last couple of years took place I was thinking today while shopping on Amazon for some new dress pants and jeans. And thought to myself, I never thought I’d know this for myself.

It took about a year to feel ok as a man walking around in these things. Consistently feeling insecure and anxiety ridden of who can see what if they can tell how do I explain etc. but overtime it’s just become standard dressing. No one has said a thing or seemed to notice and it’s been an unexpected but not unenjoyable change

...And for that masculinity……….I’m cattle rancher in one of the western states.
That made me smile... Again, as I mention elsewhere... on a crossdressing site the question was asked "how many public service officers wear panties beneath their uniform" and ten said yes.  We really have NO idea how the folks around us live their lives. We get small glimpses here but we're only scratching the surface.  We all pretend to be "normal" so folks won't judge us... but behind closed doors and with our most intimate partners the world changes, often dramatically.  I didn't even know what "pegging" is until folks here explained it to me.  Okay!

As the saying goes... different strokes for different folks. For most of my life I judged my peculiarities but I've been learning how to be more accepting of myself and my proclivities.  Wearing a brassiere from time to time is one of them and my fantasy life is rich.  Hanging out on this website from time to time, occasionally sharing a photo of this or that brassiere... is pure pleasure.  Thanks to everyone willing to step forward and talk about breasts and brassieres and other garments found across the aisle.

Say what you feel. That’s what this side of the forum is for. I don’t think you will offend anyone👍. Certainly not me.
This is the acceptance section of this forum. At least here should nobody judge others for what they do as long as it goes with the law.
A bra is just an article of clothing for people with breasts.

After having done actual measurements of my body and seeing that i do have a shorter crotch to waist ratio, and discovered I have a ~17 degree anterior pelvic tilt and deeply curved lumbar, that women's pants fit WAY better than any men's I ever wore.

for the record: Mid rise, boot cut myself.   They just FIT the image. Not a big fan of skinny jeans, but I do like leggings as well.

But yes to the point of thinking like that where 5 years ago I wouldn't be caught dead in a pair.

But hell, I discovered that keeping a "purse" in the car to hold the keys, and all misc. items, well.. women are on to something there.

I have carried a purse for decades (even in boy-mode).

Working in engineering/landsurveying I just needed a place to keep my calculator and such.

Coworkers asked me about it and I explained why, then everyone started carrying one at work.

Borrowing from the women's section can help men a lot. In fact it was my wife who suggested that I wear panty liners to keep my underwear free from urine. In my case post-void dribbling started 20 years ago at the age of 45. I have worn panty liners on a daily basis since that time. Some years ago I had to change to larger incontinence pads.

I've used women's panty liners from the beginning and now use women's pads. They are cheaper than men's pads.

i mentioned post-void dribbling to a dr. and all he said was that's normal and went onto something else.

Part of the pad brigade here. My urologist tried 2 different anticholinergics. They didn’t work. Found out later it is a Medicare’s rule that you must hoop jump before you get a real treatment, Botox injection in the detrusor muscle.

The crappy part is that one of the drugs was 7-8 k $$ per year.
The injection does work for me.

Has to be repeated every 6-12 months. I go every 9-11 months. It is a bit invasive with a cystogram and it feels like a bee sting. Only a local anesthetic involved.

You can live a lovely life by sleeping all night.

Male family physicians and even urologists play post-void dribbling down. But it often is a sign of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and a mild form of incontinence. In contrast my former female GP was aware of it and used the word incontinence. She was very pleased as I told her that I use a panty liner every day.

In recent months I’ve had to use the rest room mid night usually around 3-5am. Rarely ever a habit in the past and unsure why now it’s ticked up. But I’ve had my fair share of close but not close enough moments of leak or dribbling and needing to change before going back to bed. Nothing terrible just not trying to go back to bed damp.

Pads have been great. I put one in my underwear before bed as of a bit ago and it keeps things dry and worries free. I’ve told my urologist as well and he just said at your age it’s likely just diet or too much water before bed mixed with trying to wake up and get there in time.

It’s amazing how quick doctors write things off based on text book understanding rather than patient understanding. Especially when estrogen dominant men are documented and studied to show a significantly higher increase in urine incontinence

Exactly the same with my male urologist. "That's normal for your age" was his answer. I tried 5 mg finasteride at first, but it had  side effects (extreme dizziness) after a short time.

They're also better.

I've had an issue with incontinence since about 10 years ago, to varying degrees. It began to worsen about 5 years ago and I found that women's pads were far better than men's pads for moderate incontinence. The problem with men's pads, even though they are normally somewhat triangle shaped to cater for normal this-way-or-thataway sideways movement of your 'grub', is that if you let them fill up, they tend to overflow through the narrow bottom end which requires a change of underwear. Women's pads, being either straight or slightly bone shaped, often come with side gathers which eliminates sideways movement anyway, and as they fill up, they zone the moisture along the pad far better than men's pads, due to their length and superior design.

A couple of years ago I underwent a surgical procedure which reduced my leakage from around 150ml per day to less than 30. I still normally wear men's 'shields' now, but if I'm expecting to do anything strenuous, I'll reach for one of my women's pads every time.
