I'm one who thinks using, or relying on "AI" for input or an opinion is devoid if the "I" part.

I've come to a point where my feelings and opinions have come about from hard earned experience. To quote a "Britcom" actress, "I am unanimous in that" :-)

I find AI a much more effective means of doing online searches.  My guess is you're not averse to using a search engine like Google or Bing.  What AI does is synthesize what is found online to respond to a more detailed question.  I could pour over the hundreds of thousands of hits found by the search engine, but I find it much more effective to utilize AI to do the sorting.  My guess Gino is that your feelings and opinions are much impacted by what you view and read online. We all are.

Beyond that, I find "playing" with AI can be quite fun.  I was exploring a quote I learned about 35 years ago from a Tibetan master from the 14th Century.  Then it dawned on me that Meister Eckhart, the famous Christian mystic, lived in the same era.  I asked AI to create a conversation between the two men relying on their writings.  It was delicious.  Then I asked what a famous Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu, would make of their exchange.  The 17 page document was a delight.  These were the closing words...

Quote
Your Move:
1. Laugh (like Longchenpa),
2. Kneel (like Eckhart),
3. Walk away (like Lao Tzu)—
Or realize these are the same gesture.

Different strokes Gino.  I'm of the opinion that thoughtful use of AI can enhance one's understanding of the world.  Often one's feelings and opinions are constrained by dogmas we've encountered along the way.  Asking questions can expand one's understanding of both self and other.  That's not a bad thing.

I use ChatGPT at times for self review. And for my business I’m creating content. The right prompts and information given to it can certainly provide great assistance.

For self review. I find it useful to evaluate me. The other week I was curious as I was going to a friends house I haven’t seen for some time with a couple others. My chest has grown quite a bit since I seen them last and was nervous if I’d be seen as such. Curious if it could help identify how it may be viewed I uploaded a general image of 3 angles that I’d imagine be seen at their pool and it gave me very insightful reasons why my chest would be seen how it said it would be and a 1-10 noticeability and why it was graded as such.
Same for wearing my bras. It highlighted where and why it would be visible and why it wouldn’t and even fed back the image with lines where it said it would be seen. But affirmed it would only be seen if someone was realllly looking for it. Contrary to my chest being more projected and round but still hidden thanks to being male.

Business it gives me great tips and information given on content creation as i lack tremendously in that area. As I’ve gotten more adamant of videos and tips and presenting myself I also ask it if it can detect my chest and such and I have adjusted my clothing as a result when posting online to avoid any comments that may come from idiots online.

"My guess is you're not averse to using a search engine like Google or Bing.  "

I use DuckDuckgo because they do not track or sell my info. I can use it dozens of times in a day and have only one cookie with a single entry in it which I delete. My browser does not allow referrers, it blocks ads as well as third party tracking. I've learned enough about search engines to generally get exactly what I'm looking for on the first page by firstly knowing what I am looking for and if not possibly how the search engine may interpret it wrong so I can change my query for the second try.

Using AI for entertainment is much like reading online news, but I said... "I'm one who thinks using, or relying on "AI" for input or an opinion is devoid if the "I" part"

Perhaps there is a better mousetrap for you Gino.  I too have been using DuckDuckGo for the same reason you do, but a good friend who is much more knowledgeable about such things than I am suggested to me this morning that I download Vivaldi, a browser that blocks tracking and offers a great deal of security.  You might want to check it out.

https://vivaldi.com/

I just downloaded it myself and am beginning to learn about its capability.

That said, I had to chuckle to myself about your quotes.  Is the "I" part Intelligence or Imagination?  Again, different strokes.

42C, +1 :-)

My browser has been Vivaldi for a long time. If you spend the time to get familiar with ALL of its security features and plugins like Gif blocker, Ad block, and Java script disabler you'll get control of things other browsers do not.

Anyway, I run Linux on my PC for some 20 odd years which I trust to be more secure than Windows, also I never, EVER use my phone for anything like banking or E-commerce.
