What size did it become noticable and when did you accept it

I always had gyno but I also was built very well else were! I got built up as a kid on the farm in the summer at my uncles and work cement and as a carpenter before I even went into the Navy! I had 22" biceps at the age of 20 when I went into the Navy, but I had boobs to that just were not pectoral muscle!

After 11 years of service and several more years of construction I got stronger and bigger boobs as well, but I still wear tee shirts to this day, but many of the days I have a 46H bra under the tee shirt! I just buy high quality tees one size to big now! I also wear a leather vest a lot too, that also helps cover the side boob and the shoulder holster as well, lol!

It turned out I had familial gynecomastia.  All the males and all the females from my mother's line so far both developed large early breasts.  By 12 I had B cup breasts.  By the next year, 7th grade, I was put in "skins" by every coach there whenever possible for my now C cup breasts.  It was awful.  I went through a short period of hiding. It was over by 24 when I was injured and had much more important things to worry about.  I started hanging out with a nudist girl.  Now I go with about the 90% or so I see  that don't hide them, just wear whatever shirt they find comfortable.

No shit!  With my boobs they do hide my backup very well, but I use the chain type holster for that with either my 9mm Derringer, or North America Arms mini! It works very well.

There are advantages to having big breast if you use them right! LOL

I had a bit of a surprise the other day.  Now, to the best of my knowledge, my breasts haven't grown in decades except +-1 cup size from variations in edema.  So this is just a matter of perceptions.  This idea of holsters and bras was interesting.  I was playing around to see how that might fit, if I were to go that direction at all.  I was astonished and how much of my breasts are actually in my armpits.  They go way off to the side and look much more sizable than they look from the front.

I developed breasts as a teenager and endured years of anguish and hiding my chest.  I didn't come to terms with having breasts until my late 40's.  I've worn a bra for 10 years and prefer underwire bras in the T-shirt style. I'm a 38B.

It was two years earlier that I had had bilateral orchitis that almost destroyed my testes.  I was in my early 50s (I am 65 now) and I distinctly remember looking in the mirror, stripped to the waist whilst shaving.  I remember the tingling of shock that washed over me like cold water as I saw two perfectly round hemispheres on my slim chest.  Alright, they were very shallow but quite wide, maybe 3 inches.  Probably unnoticeable by others but I instantly realised that I was growing breasts, this was a shape that was just not me. I knew something was going on but I didn't think much about it because I was overweight at 5'11" and 205. I'm kind of like you, I dropped a lot of weight and now my breasts are noticeable. At 155 pounds The gyno has given me a bit of a feminine shape 41-31-40 but it's ok. I usually wear a 38c and find the women's shirts now fit better. I'd rather look fit with a few curves than sloppy like I used to.

My Mother noticed it when I was 12 to 13 years old.  That would have been 1949-50.  At that time there was not much that could be done. The Doctor said it usually goes away, That was not true in my case.  Since there was not really an option, there was no choice but to accept it.  
At the Police Academy, when he pinned my Badge on my uniform, the Deputy Chief stood back and remarked: "Now here's a lad that displays his badge proudly."  Yes, I too laughed.
