I agree :):)  The style now is to wear a shorter top with your leggings

Agreed. I keep a few pair of leggings and jeggings in the garage in my drawers and love wearing them when I go out for a run or do yoga at home in the mornings they are so comfortable and much better than workout pants. I have a few women’s workout shirts as they just feel better and fit better as my breasts have grown. Though I have found myself feeling more proud than ever as they’ve grown and put on my t shirts and see them noticeably standing out. Typically wear a large for a shirt but found myself buying mediums lately as I enjoy how they cling to my breasts more giving them shape instead of pushing the shirt out to hang off.

I also took the path that led me to leggings. I started wearing ladies jeans because I couldn't get a pair of men's to fit me anymore. Even when I tried the relaxed or loose fit, my hips and bottom were still a problem. Ladies jeans were the answer! I love the feel and fit. At, Torrid, the girls had me try on some jeggings, there were even better because they didn't stretch out as much and I didn't end up getting a saggy but in them. Leggings are the best 👌.  I tend to wear them with a longer blouse 👚.

Obviously we are not all alike. My hips and butt are so slim that I took to wearing suspenders to hold up my pants. Pants fitted for a female frame would never fit me. Ironically, the suspenders go around the breasts and make them even more obvious. The solution to the problem is that I now wear jump suits as work clothes. They are loose enough to be concealing and comfortably hang from the shoulders.  For casual dress I still wear suspenders, but under a shirt.  After nearly losing my pants as a result of suspender clip malfunctions I now use buttoned in suspenders.

Translation for Uk

Pants =trousers (not underpants)
Suspenders =braces (which hold up trousers rather than stockings)

We will not talk about the confusion about rubbers which we use to remove pencil marks!

And let's not get into car (especially convertible) terminology...

Speaking of blouses anyone know what a standard male large shirt size may be in women’s sizes? Went to the store the other day that is open In our area and browsed a bit grabbed a few men’s clothes and grabbed a few unisex style women’s blouses that I found and used the men’s shirts to aide in my time of trying on women’s blouses. Never thought I’d care to wear a blouse but my breasts are beginning to be uncomfortable in my fitted polos and shirts and figured I’d try. But couldn’t figure out sizes for the life of me to find one that fit well. Tried online but didn’t find much for conversion sizes. Thought I’d try to buy one or two online but figured see if others here have sizes to spot for a good fit. Figured if I could find a non female looking blouse for shirts I could likely get the comfort I want in wearing bras daily as I assume under a blouse a bra is much less detectable

Womens sizing is all over the place. Often one brand will get a girl into size 12  (flattery) when every other make will say that the same measurements are size 14-16 (the make s at this end of the spectrum are probably more truthful.)
I use a lot of womens clothing especially tops . I possess clothes that have labels saying I am anything from UK size 12 - 18 alternatively M -XXL!
You cant beat trying things on and it is perfectly possible in larger stores  to discretely try womens clothes in the mens fitting room

ALTERNATIVELY:
Go to manufacturers site or  for "own brands" the relevant Store's site. Look for a general womens  size guide or sometimes specific guide for an item. You will find a grid for sizes 12,14 etc and a list of chest, waist, hips it will fit.
Just remember, unless described as slim, tailored, loose or baggy etc you do  not need to make allowances to allow "room"
ie if  a womens size  is described as 38 inch chest the actual garment is probably around 40 inches a will fit comfortably.

By and large I have had very very few failures, When it has happened I check the garment  and if the measurement does not conform with their size guide  I request a refund and if mail order a free return label as it is their fault not mine
Happy hunting.

Depending on how large your ribs are, you may want to look in women's plus size. DW20 is right, women's sizing is all over the place. Depending on the cut of the top or blouse, I can go from L and XL to plus XL.

For me, it's how it's cut across the bust and through the waist. Dead give away is how fitted it is across the bust and the torso so it doesn't accentuate the bust while still giving room in the bust and no mono boob look.

Oh well i dont wear a bra to work for the same reason i need to change but my boobs have gotten alot more saggy in the last year or so guess its time for some underwires.

In normal course of events I do not need to consider plus sizes as I am pretty slim. Unless doing mail order from Asia but as said in my recent posts, I looked at the Sizing guidelines on the ebay  and ordered XXXL (!!!) and it is a great fit.
If ordering in UK, most often  it's M or L
As I say even within countries ladies Sizing is troublesome, internationally it is an Utter nightmare.
Buyers must beware. Read the sizings carefully and if necessary ask the seller to measure the actual garment.

I have started wearing leggings more myself due to fit and comfort. I mostly wear them around the house or around certain friends. Just have to be careful that the man junk doesn't show too much. Shorts and/or long shirts are a must when wearing leggings and/or tights like women do for any of the same reasons and tucking is not out of the question either. The nice thing is if I need to run out, I can throw on a pair of baggy pants over the leggings and no one knows. Women have so many ways to dress comfortably that men can take advantage of as well but we don't/won't.

Agreed. I had bought some jeggings and leggings at a Walmart on a whim they were there and they have self check out here and figured try them out. Took them home and tried them on and the comfort was unreal. Though tucking was very real. I’m pretty small but still tucking is very much needed in these things. I found wearing women’s panties helps tremendously for comfort. I wear cotton ones that are neutral colored and boy shorts and they are much more comfortable than boxers. And make the leggings fit much better without bunching the boxers.

Women’s fashion is so much more comfortable and enjoyable when it comes to pants and tops and underwear. I would never consider myself a crosssdresser but can’t deny that the fashion is more enjoyable.

I have been lurking here since I was diagnosed, several years ago.  Fortunately, mine are late onset.  This is my first post.  I am a full B size.  My wife claims mine are bigger than hers.  The growth was pretty rapid, over a year or so, and has now stabilized.  When it was happening, I panicked and thought I had a cancer.  The mammogram determined gyno. This was a better diagnosis, I think.  I started with Hanes sports bras, which were fine for awhile.  Especially when running.  Moved on to plain bra's within a year, since they were more comfortable.  Wife is not thrilled, but OK.  Worries about me being outed.  Me too!

Most of my shirts don't fit so well.  My reason for posting is that I usually wear a t-shirt, with an unbuttoned flannel shirt over to hide the bumps.  During the winter this works.  In the summer, not so well.  I have spent a month in Mexico, in February, for many years.  I usually buy t-shirts and tank tops while down there for summer use.  I accidentally, purchased a women's one at one of the vendors.  I was surprised at how much more room there was on the top and the arm pit holes were smaller, so the bra straps don't show.  I didn't realize that until I got home, so next year.

I would like to find a nice top that I can wear without it being so snug around the chest and doesn't look like a blouse or has a plunging neckline.  Any suggestions?
