Medical/Surgical tourism. Be careful.

There are several posts in this section that appear to be nothing more or less than thinly camouflaged advertisements for Medical and Surgical Tourism.  The advantages touted are cheap price and ease of service,  there is no mention of the qualifications of the surgeons and one even says that he had no choice, a Surgeon was assigned.  Take care that you do not fall for this. 

If you travel for surgery, where will you go for follow up care?

If cheap is your main criteria, what standard of care do you expect?
