Where did you stay in chennai??

There are lot of hotels near Apollo ........ walkable distance ... just 10 mins .......
They actually constructed hotels just because of Apollo  ....... I stayed in "hotel carlton" ......
some RS 700+ (dont remember exactly) for AC double bed .........
If u r resident of chennai ... NO ISSUES AT ALL ........ u can book a cab after surgery and go ...

Just remember ... IT IS A VERY VERY VERY SIMPLE SURGERY .... dont worrry at all .......
They just remove those fucking glands and fat around it .........

I once had a bad experience in chennai!!!
I booked an ac room and all night they switched off the electricity..saying that it was a power outage..
I just had a fan and a cfl..using a generator..
The next day a friend told me that most hotels do that to save on bills..

I havent had this problem ....... as most of the people who stay there are patients ... they wont cut off power ....
There will be limited number of AC rooms ... & getting them will be difficult ..... I was very lucky to get one ...  

On the day i reached chennai ... there were no AC rooms available (even very few non AC rooms were available ... all fully booked ) .... I stayed that night in a non AC room and next day ... fortunately one AC room was free ...........

Thank you for sharing your valuable experience with all of us. I am right now in UK and had lost touch of this site since a couple of months. But I am back and happy with your reply that there is one doc in India who can do it!!! Here the surgery is pretty expensive around 2000 pounds = 1.6 lacs. I will wait for your results some more time and am expecting to go for surgery with Dr Rama in around Dec - Jan. As chennai is very hot during summer, I prefer winter timings. but I do have few questions to ask you which I will ask some other time.

You wont believe, reading your post and replies to queries, I immediately went to bathroom in the office and had taken shots of bare moobs! ;-)

Hey moobs_sucks, i am curious to know how much % of ur gland was removed? From ur pics, it looks like 95% was taken out coz it looks perfect not concave.

Not sure abt % ... I told my doc before surgery to make sure that chest is not concave .......

It seems some ppl went to surgery without knowing whats going to happen when your unconscious. 

OFCOURSE they stick a pipe down your throat. The pipe is the ventilator machine attached tube to supply oxygen while you are unconscious.

You wont feel them pushing any pipe down your throat because they do it within the first 2 minutes immediately after you fall unconscious sedated fully.

You will know how it feels after the reviving from surgery. You will feel  a  nagging / annoying sore throat sensation as if you have bad tonsils infection and pain in your throat. This will last for maximum of 2 days. Then your throat will stop paining gradually. All the irritation  should normally stops on maximum the 2nd day.
it was not surprising for me as all this was told to me before hand Prior to surgery by the anasthesiologist Dr .Manjunath...

The team is so professional they keep you updated and informed of things any other doctor will feel its useless to tell his patients.

I urge all prospective patients to see gynacomastia surgeries  video clips on Youtube and flicker. A visual will answer all your questions. Please watch them.

I was more concerned abt the gyne surgery method than anesthesia procedure .......
I was told its a general anesthesia before surgery itself ....... and I havent asked any questions abt it......

I havent had any sore throat after surgery ...... If I had .... I would have definetly asked .......
Only thing I felt after surgery .... was.... shivering & trembling b'cos of cold ..... nurses covered me with 2 blankets and after sometime became normal .... When I asked .... they said ..... surgery room temperature will b toooo cold ..... so once you get out of it ..... u will shiver with cold ......
3  hour after surgery ..... i was giving fruit juice and never felt any pain in throat ......

Whatever ... Iam gyne freeeeeeeeeeeee ............... 

So.. wht u have done this weekend "Bloregyne" .....
I went to shopperstop at Bannergatta road and got few more T-shirts .... The section where I never used to go before gyne surgery ......  .....
