Style ng doctor nito lipo-only para paulit ulit ka mag pa opera sakanya. Tapos sabihin nya sa 2nd op. na mag excise sya, tapos hindi nya gagawin... para mag 3rd op. ka sakanya...

Nangyari na ito sa ilan ng mga patiente nya... mukha pera itong si doc eh. Magaling eh noh? Advice lang po ito, pari hindi ma sayang pera nyo...

I thought im the only one who had a bad experience with him... here is my story...

I went for consultation with him. Then he examined me and told that I have glands and said he will do both lipo and excision. With what he said, I was convinced and decided na siya na lang ang mag opera sa akin dahil mukhang alam nya talaga ang mga sinasabi nya. I was quoted 60,000 pesos. For me, masyadong mahal kasi Im just an ordinary worker earning close to minimum wage. So what I did is nangutang ako ng 30k, and the 30k ay winithdraw ko from my bank account. My wife told me "sa laki ng pera na yan, sana maging ok ang lahat." Sabi ko "may tiwala ako sa doctor na ito kasi yung mga paliwanag nya during consulation is yun ang talagang gusto kong mangyari."

On the day of my operation. He told me and explained na lipo lang ang gagawin nya muna, 2nd op siya mageexcise but he said na pag may nakita siyang gland during operation tatanggalin nya. I want to back out nung sinabi nya yun so what I did is just trust him na lang. Then after nung surgery, I asked na paano yung glands. Sabi nya tinanggal na din nya. I was confused dahil puro lipo incisions lang ang meron ako at wala akong nipple incisions. Doon pa lang naghinala na ako na mukhang lipo doctor lang si Dr Callanta.

6 months passed, ganoon pa rin ang chest ko. I consulted again sa kanya, then told me na lipo ulit then excise pag may nakita siyang gland. So after the surgery, sabi nya lipo lang ang ginawa nya. Gusto kong umiyak sa sobrang pagsisisi.

Up to now, lampas na ako sa 6 months recovery but I still have this gyne. My wife told me, "Sana nagresearch ka muna ng ibang doctor."

I personally don't want to say this things kasi makakasira sa reputation nya, but from my experience, hindi biro ang perang ginastos ko sa kanya hindi madali kitain ang ganoon pera. Up to know binabayaran ko pa rin yung inutang ko na 30k sa kakilala ko 

After my last operation, I dont wanna talk to him anymore. I lost my trust and respect for him.

Walang kwenta yan si Dr. Callanta bastos at mukhang pera!

I just want to inform everybody so they don't undergo the same pains we did and don't waste time and precious money.

Scam artist ata to, kunwari di sya mukhang pera, he doesn't charge for consultation, well the only reason he doesn't charge for consultation is so he doesn't pay tax!

Sa case ko naman it was my 2nd op. with doc, first he did lipo only which failed, did nothing.

So i decided to have a 2nd op with him (BIG MISTAKE), he said he would do lipo and excision... 2 hours later after the surgery I'm still under the effects of the anesthesia, he says 'i didn't have to do excision anymore, lipo lang, okay na yun'

we had an agreement na lipo/excision and he changes his mind and breaks his word during the surgery. Ang galing ni doc noh? Magician ata to, lipo only kaya lahat.

sayang talaga ang pera na ginastos ko sa kanya...

pag nagsalita sya sa yo talagang makukumbinsi ka... ang panget lang is hinde siya nagki keep sa promise nya. kagaya nung sa case ko, nagbago ang isip nya on the day of surgery kung kelan nakapagbayad na ako. kung pwede lang sana irefund ang mga binayad sa kanya...

What a convincing (?) remark!  Much to my surprise that these personal comments try to ruin Dr. Callanta's reputation.  I have been Dr. Callanta's patient for so many years now and I never have regrets at all.  May I suggest to patients that it is best to go directly to your doctor and say your sentiments rather than not being man ( are you?)  enough to just attack on the doctor's back.  You see, people who just talk and write their own sides of the story and not even man enough to write and sign his own name and post his own pictures are simply people who are not credible and have nothing to do in his boring life but simply .. COMPLAIN!

I new to this forums in search for good surgeons here in the philippines. pero mukhang nagkakaroon ng hinde magandang pag-uusap dito sa forums.

Since nabasa ko na lahat ang naandito. Here are my thoughts without being biased to both parties (the doctor and the patient).

As what I had been seeing from the other boards. Different people have different satisfactions. Some may be happy, some may be not. Di lahat ng doctors ay nakakapagproduce ng consistent results sa kani-kanilang pasyente.Dapat, nagkaroon muna ng agreement kung gaano karealistic ang results na mangyayari. Kasi baka naman masyadong nag expect ng malaki ang patient pero di naman natupad.

I dont see a reason kung bakit mo sisiraan ang doctor kung ok naman ang outcome (which is dapat pag usapan ng doctor at ng patient after recovery period kung ok na ba). mas maganda ang dating sa patient kung concerned ang doctor sa kanya like for example kamustahin nya para di maiwasan ang ganitong issues. or kung hinde man, dapat lumapit yung patient sa doctor at ipaliwanag kung ano ang gusto nya mangyari.

Also, in my humble opinion, you may not simply force a person to show his pictures here just to prove their credibility. Right po nila yun. And kung magpost naman sila ng pictures, sure ba tayo na si Doctor ang gumawa nun? Ang bottomline is, kung may nabanggit na excision from the consultation, dapat may excision during the surgery. Kung walang excision, dapat nasabi na yun from consultation pa lang.

Right now naghahanap ako ng surgeon for my gyne, and ayoko din na magkaroon kami ng usapan ng surgeon ko tapos hinde naman matutupad during the surgery.

Sad but true, isa rin sana si Dr Callanta sa mga choices ko for gyne. But nung nabasa ko yung mga naandito medyo natakot ako.

Sana makapagpa member si Dr Callanta dito para ma clear yung mga issues na ito.

well all dr. callanta gave me was LAME EXCUSES... so why would i waste my time talking to him... he's fed me lies and lies... so don't tell me what to do... i'm posting the truth so that other will be informed and won't waste their time and money like i did...

we have every single right to complain after what did doctor did to us, so please don't feed me any BS that its not credible... if this doctor hadn't lied in the 1st place i wouldnt be posting this about him...

so pls SAVE IT...  callanta has ZERO HONESTY AND INTEGRITY

San bang hospital or clinic si Dr Callanta? Para naman mas mabigyan pa yung iba ng more info bout him... Kawawa naman yung iba lalo na yung pinag-ipunan or inutang pa talaga yung pampa-opera.

@mm: Sick_and_Tired is right.. may right ang mga tao dito na hindi i-post ang true identity. You know naman cgro yung danger ng internet world or else not.
People will not post any bad info bout the surgeon if walang negative result na nangyari sa kanila.. ika nga, "if there's smoke, there's fire." Some people tend to not to talk with the surgeon because "nakakahiya" minsan db? And sometimes, wala ka pang laban in the end. So people like saan_ka_galing tend to post some info here just to warn other people. Mejo brutal nga lang kasi damay credibility ng Dr na yun pero for me its much better, nakatulong pa siya. And the issue about the "not man enough" because he posted some bad comments here... mejo mali ata yun. Your not wise enough to say that. Well, FOR YOUR INFO, this is indeed a discussion board and i think madami nang gumagawa ng ganyan na nagbibigay ng bad comments sa mga surgeons not unless you dont know.

moral lesson is dapat tuparin kung ano ang pinag-usapan... nakaka frustrate kasi yun pag nag change plan kayo doon sa inital na pinag-usapan nyo... masisira talaga ang credibility...
