Approx cost in India would be Rs 30k to 50k (depending on which Hospital you go to)

Mumbai has some very good hospitals like: Hinduja, BreachCandy, Lilavati
Bangalore: Wockhardt, Manipal

my suggestion is to come and personally meet surgeon, Say in mumbai meet few surgeons and decide on gut feel. Also dont go city hopping. Do you know any one in India? I suppose you are not an Inidan, that case pls make sure abt the cost, they may vary for foreigners.

Yes I am indian, born and raised in USA, but my parents were born and raised in Gujurat.... Me and my dad will be coming there sometime next year to look for a college for me to attend but i also wanted to get my gyne checked out.  Im not familiar with how close cities are like mumbai and banglore.. ill look into it.

Im really curious abt the new technique of "Chicken Fry pieces" boob glands excision n lipo from 1/2 inch side cuts.

WE need a guinea pig 2 go 4 this new one...Any Volunteers?
AS days pass surgery is getting  more advanced. That day isnt long when all surgeries will be done with laser/ radiation  on a routine basis.

Hey Bob Jones..... Yes sure both  Hungry tides and me have posted pre-surgery and post-surgery pics of our gynecomastia on this website itself.

Even Dr. Ananteshwar has taken Digicam shots of my chest ( front and side pose pics ) 5 months after surgery.

You can request him to send You  pre-op and post-op pics of his patients via E-mail (his full contact address is mentioned under Dr. Anatheshwar  HOD Plastic surgery manipal hospital , B'lore)

Im not sure if he has taken hungry tides post-op pics.....The pics taken are only from shoulder to waist. So you wont know whose boobs ur staring at lolz.

Bangalore aint dat far ...and besides, Its upto You ... Mumbai also has good hospitals as my buddy hungrytides  just mentioned....Its a very very simple routine surgery...U need not worry 2 much.

. And  Lufthansa ( german airline) and  has flights to Bangalore via Frankfurt. Also Gulf-Air has cheap fares to Bangalore Via Bahrain.

I am just back from my first bare chested tour along with friends and so had read the forum post just now only.

1. I do not have pictures as of now but I will take today and definitely post them tomorrow.
2. I dont have any scar at all but only nipple sensitivity is gone, may be because of the tight compression vest. But I am least worried about tht because it will come back, definitely.

Surgery cost touched Rs 30K. But as I went from Bangalore and stayed in good hotel and travelled by AC trains only, total cost touched about 45K.

Well, Chennai is located pretty down and Amdavad to Chennai in a train journey would take a good 40 hours. In flight though you can reach within 2 hours.

I will upload my pics tomorrow as I have not latest photos. But I would say that nothing has changed much. What displayed in album post 20 days is the same what I feel right now.

All in all, I am pretty happy and least concerned about what I am now! ;-))))

I second thought of bloregynecomastia when I visited my pre-op pics. I was shocked-sad-amazed-glad to see what I was suffereing through and what I am now!

Anyways, all the best and give proper thoughts about what you are doing and whom you are giving the knife to operate you.

Yes, sure. A picture is worth a thousand words. I have uploaded my 2 months post op photos taken on 17.12.2007.

karnik_y: Chest has healed completely as of now but I have lost nipple sensitivity. Scar tissue never happened so no comments on that. I still wear the compression vest and will be visiting doctor during January for post-op check up.
