Surgery Done on Aug 2nd.....hoping for the best...PICS added

I had my surgery done on Aug 2 nd @ appolo chennai by DR.K.Ramachandran.

First of all...

i take this opportunity to thank

1 : the creater and admin of this site...with out which i wud have still been cursing sitting in my room abt my gyne..

2 : thanks to all members who shared their surgery exp esp moobs_sucks,bloregynemastia,anothersufferer,KGR,granpa

3 : And ofcourse to my doctor Mr k Ramachandran.He is such a proffessional and nice gentleman.

I went all alone and met him on aug 1.
He eamined my case ans said the gyne has become very large and it might take more than 2-3 hrs.
he gave me tablets and bitaden and gave pre-op intsturctions.

On Aug 2...

i was taken to OT and aneshtisa was given and thats it ...
next scene...dr was saying to me"operation went on well"


i was moved to recovery center and then to day care centre and was discharged.Dr arranged for an attendant to help me for 3 days.

i am still in receovey mode...

few points

1 : better to have a person along wid u
2 : Pain will b there...and u might not see visible results imediatly after surgery.
3 : dont strain ur self post op.
4 : juss keep om imagining the beautiful life ahead....and that will subside ur pain

you went all alone??? Tremendous courage!!! but how come the Doc allowed you to do so, anyways really good to feel the zeal in you, can you tell us the procedure he used and how are you managing post op, I mean are you in a hotel and the attendant is looking after you or somewhere else?  and offcourse once you are able, pls post you pre and post op pics.

Oh man... you went alone.. 

You should have taken your closest friend with you.. Mine was also a large gyne, so the pain also would be proportionate. I can imagine your situation dude.

Anyways, congrats! A new life is waiting for you! Take good rest and NEVER strain yourself.

i dint want to tell this to any one and i talkd to doctor on this.
he gave me enuf confidence and said he wud arrange for a male nurse to look after me for 3 days.

i was able to manage myself from 4th day.

but i can still feel the pain sometimes..and when i told to doctor...he said..."u had a surgery mate...u shud have the pain....juss be patient"

i had my first dressing change yesterday and that is the first look i had at my chest after surgery....i am pretty happy wid it

on saturday he will remove my stiches and i will travel back to hyderabad the same day.

@  jurex...total charges for pharmacy,surgery etc etc is 35k.

today is 11th day post op...

there is still some swelling and very much bearable pain..
but slowly and steadily i am getting back to my own...

wearing that compression vest is the only tuff thing....otherwise my recovery is going on prettymuch fine...

doctor had put some plasters on my nipples and on the digged area after one week of operation and asked me to take off them after 5 days from it...so i wll be taking them off tomm and will take my pics and post latest pics pretty soon...

Still there's a bit pain when i stretch my chest muscles, and feels sore when i touch it.

I'll give it another week or two, and slowly start with easy exercises.
