12 days post-op- Left nipple is still depressed and parts around are swelled

It's been 12 days post surgery. Right nipple is okay. But left nipple seems to be still depressed and parts around seems to be swelled still.

When I asked doctor, he did not care much about it. And I remember him saying it will get normal. Should I worry about it?

It's very difficult to comment without photos and understanding of the procedure.  It's not unusual to have contour issues in the early post-operative period, which will resolve over time.  Difficult to say more than that.
