Antibiotic ointment?question for Dr Jacobs

Hello doctor and thanks for your reply to my question regarding my incision opening up.My ps didn't mention any ointment could you recommend a brand and how to apply.Thanks for your time.

There are many antibiotic ointments available -- such as Bacitracin, Polysporin, Neosporin, Triple Antibiotic, etc.

Would suggest you contact your surgeon and ask specifically about whether you should use ointment or not and if so, which one he would recommend.  If you surgeon won't speak to you, then speak to his staff and demand an answer from him -- that is the least he can do.
