Can I have fat transfer after injecting Bio Alcamid?? Also is PMMA any good?

Hi,

I had Bio-Alcamid injected to cover indents after bad lipo by Paul Levick in Birmingham : -

and wondered if I get the BA removed can I go for fat transfer to try and sort the defects out, or is it too dangerous to go in injecting after BA ?

I'm worried as I think fat transfer may be the only thing to help me. What is the best way to remove BA? Does anyone know someone proficient?

Also, who is good in the UK at fat transfer, or should I go to the States?!?! - as surgeons seem to post more of their work on websites for people to see than in the UK

Also is PMMA safer or does it carry the same risks of any permanent filler?

BA is not available in the States -- not yet FDA approved.  And unfortunately, there is no way to remove it once it is injected.

And would not inject PMMA either.

Fat injections might have been an answer for you -- but at this time, it would not be wise to try it in conjunction with the presence of BA -- that would be a mess.

While I have not seen any photos of you, I would suggest that sometimes the best treatment is no treatment.  In essence, accept and move on.
