How long after surgery can you gym?

I had my surgery on the 8th of April and I just want to know when I can get back into the gym? Thanks

The best person to ask that question is your surgeon, since he or she may have specific ideas about exercise after surgery.  Here are the instructions I give to my patients to guide them after surgery:

I work with them very closely by phone or e-mail if needed in order to be sure they don't do things that could jeopardize their recovery. 

Speak to your surgeon, but at this point, you should be able to be working out, unless you've had some sort of problem along the way.

yeah its still a bit numb under the nipples like a hard feeling so it feels weird when I run I just want to know if I can mess up anything in terms of recovery by running etc

At this point, unless you had some sort of complication with the surgery, you should be fine to go running or do other cardiovascular exercises.

Assuming your are healing normally, by this time you should be progressively getting back to being more active.  If you are active and have extra swelling and/or pain, it would be wise to back off and allow yourself more healing time.
