OK To Have Surgery

I recently had an MRI done w & w/ out contrast of the brain as I was complaining of some blurred vision turns out they discovered 2 cerebral infracts. My Dr said for a lack of a better word that i had to very minor strokes & that I was OK now as I passed all the neurological tests in his office. My question is this finding make a risk to have surgery ? I'm 41 yrs old my other health signs all are f=good i.e blood pressure , no diabetes & cholesterol.

If you walked into my office with the history you presented I would have you evaluated by your internist and neurologist and depending on the sedation used  an anesthesiologist  to determine your viability as a candidate for an elective surgical procedure.

I would also want clearance from your primary care physician, and I'd have you see anesthesia in person pre-operatively.
