Does having Gynecomastia surgery effect hormones post surgery? Would there be an increase in prolactin long term post surgery?

No. Gynecomastia surgery will not produce hormonal abnormalities. But hormone abnormalities can certainly cause gynecomastia.if your Prolactin level is high now, it should be investigated further.
