Hello Doctors ,,

I am 21 years old male , having gynecomastia since last year but now its stopped. My problem is that I am having swelling under my arm in armpit (right only) since 2 months  , its more like muscular swelling than lymph node swelling , Its not fixed marble size typical lump  but its smooth and bigger muscular mass , however I went to couple of doctors , one was breast specialist , I insisted her to do mammogram but she refused and said I am fine and all changes are physiological and on the other hand I went to local physician who felt my armpit and told that its lymph swelling but he surely said I don't have breast cancer at all.  I also previously posted in "general discussion " on this website and received great help but I want opinion on this from you. Here are photos attached , kindly see the photos and tell me that is there something really wrong or not, I will remain very thankful to you .

It is highly unlikely that you have cancer.  But there is a mass there and it should be investigated.  Best to visit your internist and request an MRI.  If there is a solid mass there, then perhaps a biopsy would be indicated.

Good luck!

Thankyou for the reply , I have pressed and checked this area deeply. It feels more like muscular strips, rubber like wires and mass like present in this swelling. I have felt there is no hard mass or fixed lump but a fixed muscles like strips present and swelled skin above is detached from that mass/ball .. there is however no pain . any futher explaination. thanks?

The swelling needs to be evaluated. Cancer is the last thing one would think of at your age.  I am sure you are concerned and I would advise going to a good General Surgeon for a evaluation. Good Luck.
