After protruding nipple surgery, I developed a hard lump under my areola.  This eventually went away, but was replaced with a very soft tissue which is making my areolas protrude slightly still.

Will kenalog be a viable treatment?  If so at what dose?  If not, what else can I do?

Thanks,

Jim

You have not provided a lot of detail about your surgery, etc.

In general, if your nipples were absolutely flat after surgery and then developed enough tissue to make them protrude, then it is likely to be scar tissue.  Scar tissue can be treated in many cases with Kenalog.  The exact dosage is determined by your surgeon.

Best to return to your surgeon and ask about treatment.
