Hello,

Firstly, I posted here with some pics/general info:
http://www.gynecomastia.org/smf/index.php?topic=21688.0

The consensus there is that fat loss won't do much for me. I heard about Zeltiq/Coolsculpting (http://www.body-contouring.com/zeltiq.aspx) and how it was approved by the FDA recently. Many doctors in the US are now offering it and there's one within driving distance of me.

Would you recommend this as a possible procedure for male breast reduction, or would such a procedure even work on this kind of tissue? I've sent around some emails to clinics with no response yet, so I thought I'd ask here. Also couldn't find anything on Google - most people seem to be using Zeltiq for abdominal fat/love handles.

I'm just trying to explore all possibilities before doing invasive surgery. Any thoughts would be helpful - thanks.

Zeltiq was just approved by the FDA for treatment of excess fat.  It does so my cooling the tissue to kill fat cells.  It will only kill some of the cells -- so more than likely most people will require more than one treatment.

It does nothing for breast tissue, however, so its effect on gyne would be limited at best.
