Nope, didn't really care.  Everyone here uses a false name so it doesn't matter to me.

Hey BB-man...

I am about 2.5 weeks post-op now, and feeling great.

I have had no swelling whatsoever, and what little bruising I had was completely gone within a week or so.

I have resumed light cardio (bikes and such), and can probably resume more intense cardio within another few days.

My results are absolutely perfect... and even though he said to wear the vest continuously for 6 weeks, I take it off now if I am going out or just getting annoyed with it.

Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.

great news!!! .. thats awsome.

ive got a question about the anesthetics part... how did that go... is there an anesthetics specialist there or is it just LIsta himself... also.. the disclaimer on his paper mentions that there might be people watching him do the surgery.. was that the case? Was it video taped like he also mention might occur?

cheers

There was a board trained anesthetist there, who handled the whole anesthesia bit. My doctor was a woman (I forget her name), but she was friendly and did a great job. I felt absolutely nothing as the IV went in, don't remember going under, and then woke up in the recovery room. No nausea or any sort of pain whatsoever. I was also able to use the washroom right after without any problems. I guess she did an excellent job.

On my surgery day, Dr. Lista introduced me to a student and asked if it would be ok if he watched the procedure so he could spread his unique methods of performing gyne surgery. Dr. Lista said the observer would be standing at a distance, would never touch me, and would not interfere with the process at all. I had no problems with this.

I don't think it was videotaped. He did take some "before" pics though (with head cut off of course).

Let me know if you have any other questions.
