Doctors other than Fielding covered by OHIP

I have been lurking around the forums, I understand that the gyne extraction is covered by OHIP if performed in a public hospital.

Anyone know any doctors besides Feilding in the GTA that perform the surgery in a public hospital where it would be covered atleast partially by OHIP ?

I can't say that I do but I had my surgery with Fielding last week and he does a great job.  I wouldn't know why you'd want to use someone else but you must have your reasons.  Good luck.

With Dr.Fielding your surgery IS partially covered by OHIP.  They take care of hospital costs, etc...   Hence the prices of $1000-$1700.  If you went privately the figures would be in the $4000-$5000 range.

I paid for the whole thing with Fielding because I don't have OHIP (non-Canadian resident here). I ended up paying 3300 dollars. So that's the ball park figure if OHIP doesn't cover it.

F'n aye man, that's still an amazing price.  Our brothers in the US and other Canadian provinces are being taken to the cleaners then.

Yup excission and lipo.

Dr. Frank Lista also has it covered by OHIP, unless you choose the PAL method.
