I'm another individual with an extremely late growth spurt.

In my last year of high school and my first year of university I grew approximately 6 inches now I am 6'1.

The link between height and gyne seems plausible.

It makes sense when you think about it. I assume the big growth spurt of puberty is linked to the greatest hormonal imbalances among males. Having this spurt late could obviously result in developmental issues, if hormones aren't balanced by the average age. Thus gyne could have a greater chance of developing.
