Yeah, it's definitely vastly improved.  I'm just a bit disappointed that my chest is not symmetrical, but I'm sure it can be fixed with a touch up.

Yes, I did have the puffs - that was the main problem.  At the 6 month mark here, i would say they are not puffy anymore.  Maybe slightly puffed, but they are now flat enough for my liking.  They don't stick through shirts!

Well guys:

I am now almost 6 months post ops. But I won't say I am satisfied yet. As time goes by, I suppose to get better but seems like it's going reverse. Right side is better but left side needs definetly revision. I was there with Dr. JCF after my 4 months (2nd week of Jan) and he told me to wait till 10 months to get better result. So all I can do now, is wait till then. If nothing happen, I will ask him for revision. In T-Shirts, it is good - no problem but I can't think of going with shirt for sure.

Hope all go well in next 5 months.
Surgery done on Sept 6th, 2006 with Dr. Fielding - Toronto. Not 100% cured but will get there for sure !!!

Well, I,m 3 months post-op and like Give me Life my left side isn't at 50 % yet, looks like a smaller version of what I had but still looks like gynecomastia. The right side looks like a very minor case of gyn, but still not perfect. I'm being patient here since I'm only 3 months post op and Dr Fielding said that it could take between 3 and 12 months before the final results show up. Also, I'm too lazy to look for it but a few weeks ago I posted the comment of a guy who had a surgery with Fielding and was satisfied at 80-90% and his results only appeared 10 months post-op.......I hope I won't have to go again......

GmL: did you talk with Fielding about revision? How would that work regarding to price?

I'm 3 weeks post-op as of this wednesday.  So far my result is pretty good. Left side nearly perfect. Right side has some work to do but I can see it is getting better daily.

Did you guys find that it got worse after you removed the vest at 3 weeks or did it start getting better?

It went worse after I removed the vest....well to be fair, it went worse after I took off the 1 week foams pads.

G-Man:

When I met Fielding in Jan (4 month post op), he was very happy with my result and ask me to wait for another 6 months or so to get the better result. So I will wait till then. But what I notice is, it's been almost 6 weeks I have seen him and size of "boobs" are going up not down. So that's concern me. BEside that, I have losts some weight. I am regularly on exercise and very controlled on diet too. So It should work out well in the end. I will wait till say - August and it nothing change, definetly, I will go again.

How about others? I recall, we were almost 4-5 people went at the same time. And havn't heard views of others.

hey people... i'm still reading the boeard but have nothing new to say since the last time about my condition and i dont want to alarm anyone thinking about getting their surgery.

in my case, i will soon be 7 months post op and the Gyne is there. VERY out there...there is absolutely no improvement to my condition when i compare it to before my surgery. some people just noticed that i dad boobs (one of them just yelled : "are those man boobs?" in a restaurant." i wanted to die... so you can understand that i am pretty unhappy about the way everything is turning out for the moment.
the only thing different now is that i have scars around the nipples.

anyways, since there is absolutely no improvement (and i know a lot of people will say that i must me exagerating but people around me say the same thing), i think it might be about a hormonal problem + i know a few guys in my familly (father + 1 or 2 cousins) have the same condition but definitely not as severe. so i guess i'm a special case  :-\

so i guess i would still recommend Fielding for surgery because the whole procedure was really smooth and i'm pretty sure he usually does an incredible job, but i would also suggest that you go see an endocrinologist and ask him if surgery is a potential solution for your. not sure if he will be able to answer but it might be good to get another medical opinion.

i should go and see Fielding as soon as i have the money...and i should find it since i cancelled my trip plans for the summer...

good luck guys
surgery did not work...:-(

Brebguy:

Sorry to hear about your progress. But I am almost 6 months and things turning back to square 1 again. After surgery, I had good result. And I was so much happy in my life never before in my 36 yrs. But in last 2-3 weeks, I have notice that size of boobs are goind up then going down. Left side is still better. But that's the right side, makes me worry. But overall, it is what the half of I had before surgery. But who knows, as time goes by where it goes from here???

Since the surgery, I am in the gyme regularly, controlling my diet. Lost 4 size from my weist line. So I am doing good about keeping fat away. But still it's not helping me in the cheast side. When I talked to Fielding in January, he asked me to wait for another 5-6 months before it gets better as he telling me my skin going to compress and make cheast flat out. I am waiting for that.

Brebguy, same as you. My dad and brother have a same problem. Aldo my grand pa had the same. Bofore my surgery, I told Fielding about family history and he told me that's fine. So don't khow is it something to do with hormons??? Let's see how it goes in next 1 or so. Else I will call him again.

I'm now 4 months post-op. I think I look a lot better than before I got the surgery - I can wear shirts that I was too embarrassed to wear before, for example - but, it's not flat yet. The scars are gradually fading away; I don't think it's worth gambling with Lista's method just to avoid scars.

Because I also got lipo for my stomach and love-handles, it's easier for me to see how much of the crap on my body is just swelling. I can tell you that swelling takes a loooonnng time to go away. I STILL have MOST of my swelling in the love handles and lower gut. I know it's swelling because it's harder than fat and it feels numb to the touch. So, I'm guessing that the crap that's still in my chest is probably swelling also.

Here's a tip: Dr. F told me that the bright scars on your sides won't go away until the swelling does - there's some biological reason for that. So, if you still have bright scars, rest assured that the crap in your chest is just swelling.

Hi:

Totally agree with Dadadaboom. If someone is paying extra bucks to Dr. Lista just because of scars, don't go for it. Dr. Fielding's method as effective as others with scars. I am now 6 months post ops and you can hardly tell any scars on my chest (unless you come close as my wife @@@). However, swelling do take lots of time to go away. In my case, I would say it took me almost 5 months. Now as I am 6 months post ops, I would say results are not 100% not even 75%. But much better than before. I can wear t-shirts no problem. But don't dare to go out without shirts. But truly speaking, my self esteem and my confidence boost so much never before in my 35 yr. of life. I started activities I never did before just beacuse of my bogy (boobs). I started gyme - lost 4 of size. Now looking forward to squash and then golf. Once cheast looks ok, want to learn swimming which I never did before.

Looking forward to get 80-90% result in next 5-6 months. Hope all go well.
