An update... I managed to get lucky and picked up a cancellation. I'm going to be going in for a consultation Tomorrow.

Yeah, I probably got yours :)

Anyway, I've got a Surgery Date set on August 24th, cost me $1200+GST, seems I'm as bad as Bambu.

I must say, JCF was quite nice, he's really got that Mr. Rogers personality. Yeah he went through the same routine as everyone else has said.

Just over two months to wait now :)

I think he's got a fixed price of $1200+GST at the moment.  I'd advise anybody wanting to get surgery to do it before he raises prices.  :-/

He probably bases his prices on how much Lipo has to be done.

You think so Bambu?  Almost all of us who've been to him recently have been quoted the same price.

That is unless we all have the same case!  Hehehe!   :P

But it's worth it.  The Doc is a great guy though - I never felt the least bit uncomfortable at all.

  • Thank you Fielding
Brown 6.

My case must be really severe if I'm paying $1605 (GST included).  Bambu mentioned that it must be based on the amount of lipo he has to do.  I never considered that.  I thought that my gland was bigger so the more he would have to remove.

To all the brown guys out there, what nationality are you (if you don't mind)?

Sorry about the false info then, he does charge people based on the amount of lipo to be performed.

Blitz I'm from Goa, India by the way.

I'm a Tamil, although not your typical gun-slinging '86 Honda accord with tinted windows Tamil :P (those of you who've been in Scarborough know what I mean)

Ya, Fielding seems to be a very good doc. Although when I went into the office yesterday, I felt rather uncomfortable, mostly because everyone else there was was a caucasian woman. Whereas I was there with my parents, and they kinda looked at us thinking we went looking for an East Indian food supermarket and took a wrong turn :P

Indian....from the North. ;)

Quick Question :  For those of you who have had the surgery is the post op soreness/pain caused by the site of the excision or from the lipo?
Just by looking at the post-op pictures (immediately following the surgery) the chest looks like someone has beaten it with a baseball bat - hope it doesnt hurt like that..

thanks again

Pirate....

Yeah, my chest looked like that. It's not that painfull actually. 'Looks' way worse than it actually is. No pain really. Just discomfort like you would feel if you worked your chest really hard at the gym....  ;)

I would say that the majority of the 'discomfort' comes from being Lipo'ed....

KC....

Yep! Something is not right here....

Zardoz from Vancouver B.C. is having his Op today. He is staying here in Brampton and I took him to St. Joseph's Health Center for the proceedure. His case is very mild but JCF is charging him $1200 & change. In my opinion, Zardoz need very little Lipo, if any at all! Therefore.... JCF does not set his fee by how much Lipo is needed ( I was wrong :-[ ). IMHO, I needed way more work done than Zardoz and our fees were basically the same.

Blitz is paying $1605....

Looks like JCF is trying to find out how much we are willing to pay for Lipo. Won't be too long before his fee is $2000. So.... if you are thinking of getting the Op, do it now! IMO, JCF's Lipo fee will keep going up and up and up.....  :o   But then, he can charge whatever he wants. I should have become a Plastic/Cosmetic Surgeon.
