I don't know if this is the right section but... How long are we supposed to wear the Compression binder/vest from surgery? My doctor told me to wear it a couple of days and then just wear an underarm our, but I'm paranoid that my concept of " couple of days" and his are off. I had surgery on wednesday and I wore the surgery vest until all of saturday. Today ( sunday) I'm only wearing a nike compression shirt ( it feels just like an underarm our). Is that okay? or will this ruin my results. PLEASE ANSWER :/

Thats strange. I feel like you should be wearing the vest for a month or so.

After surgery, your body wants to swell.  And that tendency to swell does not stop at 3, 4 or even 7 days.  It takes several weeks of compression to get over the hill.

I advise my patients to wear their compression garment for at least one month.
