Stage 2 Compression Vest?

Hi,

I suppose this one is directed at anyone that can offer advice but I am hoping that Dr Bermant can offer some feedback as I am looking at purchasing one of the stage 2 garments that he recommends. I am 4 days post surgery and not liking the current vest I am using.

How long do I need to wait before being able to use the stage 2 compression vest? I am from Australia and have found a local supplier that sells the garment Dr Bermant recommends just not sure when I can use it instead.

I believe the general rule of thumb is to start wearing your stage 2 at week 2 post op.  You should check with your surgeon and see what he/she recommends.
