Under armor shirt??

I had my surgery on november 3rd , i got the drainage tubes removed november the 6th and i got my stitches removed november 12th. I had to wear a tensor bandage until i got my stitches out and then the nurse told me i can wear an underarmor t shirt. I forgot to ask if i should wear the tensor bandage under the shirt? im not sure, what i should do.
