Was watching a new series on HULU last night called “Best Medicine” and gynecomastia came up! It was a decent part of shows first two episodes. I have never seen or heard of this being on any show other than occasionally showing up on a couple of daytime talk shows. Anyone else see the show or have it part of any other show besides Sienfeld?

I have on the TV show that aired on PBS called Doc. Martin.  There a man came in to see him, was diagnosed with it and the Doc had to figure out why. The woman he was having an affair with was using an estrogen cream and he was exposed to it that way.

I hope your show cast a good light on it and not all shame.

This is very interesting. My wife was on a hormone treatment called Wiley protocol. It was a cream. After a couple of months we noticed that a friends female dog we took care of once in awhile, that her Yoo-hoo was swollen. But never at home with her owner. Only when we took care of her. And then about 6 months later I had ED. Then my breasts started growing. That’s when my doctor told me after testing for several things that I had a hormonal imbalance.
Hmmmm…now this is starting to make sense. My wife and I just had a conversation about it after reading this. At the time it was a controversial therapy and today it still is. This really upsets me. Not at my wife but at the whole hormone treatment crap. Especially this Wiley protocol.

At 75, we are still sexually active.  She had been on estradiol for several years. It is a vagina cream.

My diagnosis was 14 years ago.  Well before she began this regime.  I know this didn't trigger the beginning.  Mammograms show slow growth every two years.

Life is a box of chocolates.  Enjoy what you get.

I wrote earlier today on another thread that my former wife and good friend meets with a doctor next week who specializes in working with menopausal women about hormone replacement therapy.  I've no idea what that will entail, but I'm very curious.  We don't live together and don't have a sexual relationship so my interest has more to do with changes in my body and whether this will give me the opportunity to share all of that with her.  Yes, bodies change with time.  I'm shocked at how I've changed... in ways we've discussed on this website... but as oldguy reminds us... Life is a box of chocolates.  Enjoy what you got."  Thank you Forrest.
