10 days post op: tingle chest

hello... im in post op (10 days) and today i went to surgeon (not plastic) to remove the catgut. He told me to wait 3-4 days more and I asked him I feel "tingle" in my chest sometime (its very strange, i doesn't hurt, but i can feel my nipples will explode ) and he answered me "It's normal but maybe it's never remains"... Is it right?

I can’t speak for any others, but I felt all sorts of sensations in my chest for several weeks after surgery.  First there was the numbness, then as that receded there was itching, tingling (presumably nerves repairing themselves) and a degree of sloshing about (fluid build up).  It all passed.
