Another Gyno!! ??

Hi,

I'm 16. I have a right-side gyno since I was 11-12(diagnosed by a specialist). I think now its stop growing. But then, recently I feel random sharp pain on the left-side of my breast. However, there is no lump underneath my left nipple. But are there any possiblity that will cause its to growing gynecomastia just like my right breast?

It's possible. Typically you can feel gyno developing in the form of pain/itching on the nipple area. I would get to a doctor and an endo. You're 16... so you will likely get 0 help from doctor initially. It's up to you to research and push for the medical care you need/want.

I developed my gyno very early. I began puberty at age 8 and had gyno by age 10. As soon as I was 14 I was able to do research and get myself to childrens hospital and eventually surgery. My parents were helpful, but the brunt of the effort was my own.

Btw Im not an expert but my assertion is that having gyno on both sides of the chest is more common than having a single side. Maybe a doctor can chime in.

I know it is common to have both sides of the chest. But i don't it's common to have 1 gyno on one side and then next 5 years it grows another side of chest  . I'll probably totalk to the doctor next time.

Agreed. I would assume that its even more unusual for one side to develop 5 years after the other.

While bilateral gyne is the most common condition, I have seen all combinations.  One sided -- operated upon -- then the other side years later.  All with normal endo numbers and no evidence of any other cause.

exactly.  it probably doesn't take much fluctuation anyway.  if it acted up before, it was probably more likely a little later, and gyne is still very idiopathic, not completely understood.
