can post-op working push out scar tissue

after the surgery if u start working out and there is scar tissue remaining will that get pushed out? and if it does... should i not work out my chest

I figure that it would help break it up.  I've been working out hard for 3 years and only stopped for my surgery and mine is looking better and better except for the small lump under my right nipple
