I thought that instant messaging would be a good idea until my step-daughter kept interjecting herself every time I went on line. She had the idea somehow that if I was online I was not busy.

Another friend seem to have the same idea and it got to where I could not do anything except answer their questions. Questions which had not been thought out or self edited.

So I bailed out of instant messaging.

The Questions here are usually earnest and well thought out so I attempt to put at least an equal amount of thought into any reply I might make.

My own experience with instant messaging was that it degenerated thoughtful discussion to thoughtless babble. In short, is was a total waste of time.

Your mileage may differ.

PS  After typing this I went to the message board and there I found a folder labeled "instant message"
has anyone tried it?

This is 2019and I just found this site on the internet. It does not show up on the Garment 1-12 site. so if any one is out there I am willing to chat.

I know Jerry says the chat room link is at the bottom of each page, but I cant find it...

I agree!   You have to look very hard for it.  It should be at the top of the page. I found it under Gynecomastia talk.  So it is like they don't want us to find it and have chats.
