Direct periareloar excision of gland all in one piece, or not? Advantages?

I had surgery for gyno years ago around 2006-2007 via sharp cannula liposuction alone.  It was not very successful.  Recently I've started thinking about getting surgery again.

I'm convinced that I will need direct excision through the areola.  It seems like most surgeons videos I've watched who do this, do it more or less in one piece.  I've seen one video where the surgeon who tend to snip and remove in pieces.  Are there any advantages to one way vs. the other?

No advantages -- one way or the other.  What counts is that virtually all of the breast tissue is removed.
