Hi,
5 month ago I noticed that my right nipple started to get bigger and puffier. It is just my right side.
Now it is the same thing, same size. It hurts a bit (a little) just when I press in middle of the nipple, and it is tender.
Also when it is cold it's shrink an looks normal. When I press under the nipple i don't feel any lump I feel some thing
and I think it is a bone, it's not round, it is very hard and hurts a bit when i press alot.
When I press in the middle of nipple i can feel a small knot. When i'm relaxed the nipple is very soft but when i rise my arm nipple is firm and hard in middle. I don't have any other symptoms, like lups under my arms or behind nipple, inverted nipple or something like that.
I'm 27, 180 cm height and 75.6 kg.
Three times a week i go in gym for one year now and from supplements i only take whey protein.
I have low body fat, just lean muscles.

I just want to add that before i started to go to gym my right side of chest was smaller then my left, on left side i had muscles and on right don't. Maybe it started because i developed muscles on my right side?

Is it gynecomastia what i just described?

thank in advance

While it probably should be confirmed by a professional, The condition is most commonly self diagnosed. Meaning that if you think you have it, you do.

It is important to realize that about 1/3 of all adult males have the condition. It is not a disease, but is so common that unless there is some kind of pathology present it is thought by many to be normal.

All of that said, it can be a very embarrassing condition. In some cases it can have serious psychological impact on a man. Conversely, there are many men who simply ignore the condition.

I always wonder why more people don't know what gynecomastia is, when I was in and out of hospital before my operation getting tests I even had to explain to some of the doctors what gyno was. Although the more people who find out about gyno the more operations their will be done and insurance companies will stop covering the costs by classing it as cosmetic surgery.

Pictures would be helpful. You wouldn't get Gyno from weightlifting unless you did steroids, hormones, etc
When you tone up and lose fat the gland is pushed out and becomes more visible so you may have had this since puberty but have never noticed.

It looks like you have some gland their. A very easy way to check is to raise both arms over your head and compare both sides, the side that has no gland will be flat while the other side will actually stick out. Its up to you to decide how bad it is, everyone has a different view on their ideal chest. Mine was about 2-3 times bigger than yours so I went for surgery.

OK, I know that I'm getting old and my memory is not as sharp as it once was but there is nothing wrong with my eyes.

miso 1000, There are a lot of men who hope they would look that good after surgery. I think you should congratulate yourself for your good fortune and find something else to worry about.
