hey, dr. berment, i have  a couple questions for you. one where are you located? do you think a general surgeon would do my surgery, and if not do you need a refferal before i talk to you about it? also, how long does it usually take after u decide you are going to operate on some1, before u can give actually operate on them?

Most Plastic Surgeons start out their training as General Surgeons and then take additional training to become Plastic Surgeons.  General Surgeons typically do not offer many elements of surgical sculpture that a Plastic Surgeon offers.
