erect areola/nipple complex

I am having a problem regarding areola/nipple complex. For some reason when my areola/nipple gets stimulated by either cold temperature or sexual, my entire areola/nipple is as hard as a rock...It's weird, the whole complex looks like a small rock. Does anyone know what can be done to correct this? Ususally, the nipple only gets hard, hmmm...When not erect they are just fatty, and I can't feel anything in them...The areola is just a bunch of skin...They are a little bigger than normal!! Any advice would be great!!
