Guys id like to say something about these vests. No doubt about it, the underworks compression vest literally saved my life. But you must also take into consideration is the possible chance of you becoming dependant on it. I know I sure as hell did before surgery. And I still have to wear it a week and half post op.

Let me explain. If you guys dont plan on getting the surgery or simply cant afford, I think its better NOT to buy the compression vests. Reason being...do you guys really find it realistic wearing these damn vests all day for the rest of your life? I had my compression vests for about 10-12 months, im not really counting. At first I only bought 2 and would only do laundry about once a week so sometimes I would get caught with a dirty sweaty one because it wasnt laundry day. And I hated it, but I felt the need to because I became so dependant on it. Guys, if your planning on getting the surgery within the next 6 months after buying the vest, then you know what, I say go for it. But in my opinion, wearing these vests forever just isnt a realistic option.

Also, someone had mentioned that it compresses the gut. Another upside but also has its downside. When you get so use to wearing the vest, you feel and look better about yourself. Then when theres times around the house when you dont wanna wear the vest (hell, who do you have to impress? :P) and you look at yourself in the mirror and it looks like youve gained 15 pounds. Its not fun.

Guys bottom line like I said before. It really should be a temporary quick fix untill surgery. Also what some of you should be considering before surgery is getting in the best shape you can before surgery so you kill 2 birds with one stone. Look good and have a normal chest ;D
Had surgery with Dr. J.C. Fielding on August 2nd.
