Excision Only Pain vs Lipo Only Pain

My first lipo only surgery in Feb was not a success so my PS is doing a excision revision next monday. I was wondering if this will be more or less painfull. The first surgery was more painful than I expected. Im starting construction work soon since classes are out and I need to tell them when I can start. 1 week recovery be enough?

I don't know about the pain, but as for work:
Depending on what you're doing:
If you're lifting, carrying and constructing, then I'd give it at least a month.
If you're one of the guys that holds the sign, then two weeks might be OK.

I had both done....and pain was not really a big deal...about a 5 out of 10 on my pain scale.  I'd rather have this done than have my tonsils out, or a root canal any day of the week.

I did research, I posted this in hopes of possibly finding someone who had lipo only first and then a excision only revision to compare the pain differences. Sure there are many topics dealing with the pain of lipo & excision or Lipo Only, but I was seeing if somone went through my situation.

for the record...
Lipo Only hurt 10x more than Excision.

If you dont need to have lipo, I HIGHLY suggest that you DO NOT have it done. My excision only revision was all I needed and the pain is minimal!

that's ok. at first to 2nd day, there will be minimal pain (as my doctor told me, if there is severe pain, there might be something wrong). im a 3rd day post op lipo only. yesterday i can do a light cross-trainer cardio for 3 minutes.
