I just had revision surgery at the end of october. I had some scar tissue and fat that settled under my nipples causing them to puff out. I was wondering if taking the precautions to stop scar tissue from developing will that help with the fat problem as well.

By the way i run 5 to 7 miles a day and weight lift for about an hour. I eat pretty clean so that is not the issue.

Dude... you can't  stop scar tissue from developing. The body will do what the body wants to do.   :P

We've had reports from some men that the post operative swelling took several months to completely diminish.

Obviously the extent of the surgery and your personal propensity for forming scar tissue are going to be major factors.

Sorry, but fat doesn't just decide to lodge itself just behind the nipple -- especially right after surgery.  More than likely, you have some amount of scar tissue.

Suggest you return to your surgeon and discuss possible treatment -- massage, ultrasound, kenalog injections.
