I have the "gland gyne" and I hear that sometimes it goes away after/during puberty? when that happens do the glands shrink down? I assume thats what happens?

In my case, Gynecomastia is a family trait.

But unless that is true for you, your breast tissue should gradually degrade of shrink when the hormonal balance no longer supports them.  It is similar to what happents to women as their estrogen levels drop after menopause.  And it is why older women have rather droopy breasts.

The fatty part of the breasts often remains, and it is often highly resistant to weight loss and/or exercise

I'm about to turn 19 and I had surgery in May of '05.  My two older brothers both have gyne, so I was pretty positive it wasn't going away on its own.
