gynecomastia with pectus carinatum

pectus carinatum is a condition where the sternum protrudes outward, mine is more pronounced on the lt side. in addition to this i also have gynec. I went for a consult, the Dr said it would look better with surgery but will still be crooked. I would hate to have the surgery and still be afraid to take my shirt off. Would appreciate any opinions on this.  And has anyone had this done by Dr. Parson in Phoenix?
