Gyno - do i have it ?

Sorry on bad picture quality, i just have this camera and i noticed it last night, that it doesnt look natural at all.
Its not muscle, and i have picture from my last year and its nowhere near the same.

What does it look to you ? Please tell me. Tnx.

How old are you? This usually only starts happening during puberty or if you take steroids incorrectly.

I have heard of it developing when taking Propecia/Finasteride though, you taking that?

im taking some antidepressant for maybe a 7-8 months. amyzol - amitriptyline, which i just found can cause gynecomastya in a bit less then 1% of people.

i mean, is it weird i just now started noticing my gyno and have been taking those pills for quzite a while?

if there are some stages of its development, in which one would you say i am ? does it look bad ?

i read that it can disappear after i stop taking pills so thats what im gonna do right now.
and will go to doctor anyway, need to know how much it can stay in blood and when should i take tests without it in it to be sure its because of that, and not some illness or something.

Sorry man not sure if there are 'stages of development' with gyno. And as far as 'does it look bad?' that's really up to you...is it affecting your confidence? Are your shirts fitting poorly and so you end up slouching to conceal your gyno, or do you feel self conscious being shirtless in front of others? If the answers to those questions are a yes, then I'd say that it's bad for you.

Sounds like you just need to talk to your doc man...maybe ask him if you can switch to a different anti-depressant? Maybe Wellbutrin? Hopefully it will go away for you. I wonder if something like Nolvadex/Letrozole/Tamoxifen would reverse gyno which is onset from medication (I know they do not work on pubertal gyno)... Talk to your doc, see if it goes away after you stop the meds, and ask him about those 3 drugs I just mentioned and see what he says.

i can hide it, but it definitely shows on some t-shirts i could have weared comfortably and i know i wont be taking it this summer on the beach, or even go there once till i try to cure it.

and strange thing is, i dont remember it being here maybe even month-two ago, at least in this size and noticeable.

i did take a lot of this antidepressives in that same month-two period, had work issues and relationship problems so it might have kickstarted it, i just hope it stops growing, if nothing else when i now stop taking it.

and about type, i meant i saw some way bigger and thought maybe its categorized by size or growth.

I would even bet if you walk by a large group of people singing a song so that they would look at you and we interviewed them after most couldn't tell us a thing about you, not even your hair color!

Trust me! I'm tons bigger then you and people don't even take a second look at me, so I know you won't even be noticed! Go and have fun, enjoy your summer!

No one EVER made fun of my chest before I had surgery but that didn't make my self-consciousness any less severe. Even when I told people I was having surgery done they told me it wasn't needed. I really don't think it matters how big your nipples or chest is, if you aren't comfortable with it, you never will be unless you choose to do something about it or accept it and stop caring.

Niel,  I know that he will feel much better once he has surgery, however not everyone can afford to go out and pay for surgery right away, so I'm just trying to assure him that he doesn't need to feel so afraid of going out in public and having a good time! Building self confidence is better then knocking it down!

If you got the cash or other means, go get the surgery, but in the mean time try to find a why to still enjoy life, my God life can be so shot, don't let it pass you by!

did today, saw general practicioner, she said that she thinks its gyno and when i told her about those pills i stoped taking, she  told me to wait 4 weeks and come back, like she doesnt even care.

i told her i wanna do blood & urine tests day after this one, at least to check with her is it something serious and she agreed. at least that.

its a general practicion here to do that before she can send me to specialist. and im gonna ask of her to send me to one, after she does the scan of liver and anything else to check on that too.
i dont think she knows what to do.
im from small town in bosnia, and i dont think she saw much of it to know. totaly disapointed in her.


i guess that would be endocrynologist. the specialist for gyno i mean ?


thing is,
its kinda flared up now and sensitive and im afraid its gonna grow more and more till they decide to do something about it.
i dont know what to do, beside that
and it feels like its increasing daily.
this didnt happen before, this sensitivity and feels there.

here are photos from right now, if anyone beside me can maybe notice difference from first set of photos and these 2. did it suppose to increase in size like this ?!




im gonna stop drinking coffee, already stoped those pills the other night, dont know what else could it be beside some liver malfunction or cancer.

i did started to take some vitamins, especially vitamin d3 in last few days, maybe day before i noticed gyno, but i guess it cant react that soon, can it ?

im gonna stop taking it too, just to be sure.

sorry, i dont have anywhere else to went frustrations to. feeling ashamed, planing on buying undershirts to try and hide it when outside at least and and, well, whatever happens - happens.
