The title pretty much says it all - how long after your first consultation with your surgeon were you under the knife?

I booked surgery the day after my consultation, one month exactly. March 7th.

My Gynecomastia was diagnosed in 1949 when I was 12 years old. The surgery did not exist then and did not become common until the mid-late 1980's by which time I could find many better uses for the money.

It was almost a year for me. This was from screwing around trying to get insurance to pay for it, and I also had a biopsy to check for cancer.

I am almost six months after, and it looks good.

About a month.  I went in for two consultations, just to make sure that I wanted to use the surgeon I went with, and interviewed another surgeon in between.  I could've had the surgery about 3 months ago, but I'm not really complaining.
Surgery date: February 8, 2006

About 6 weeks after the consult.
