I've had purely 1 sided gyno for 3 years and a few months. I know it's not going to go away and I'm I'm generally fine with that. I almost never let it keep me from taking my shirt off unless it's really painful I I need to keep it secured with a tight undershirt. I'm really fit and it only recently become so large that others actually take note My gyno seems to go through spurts of growth every few months and after a long and painful one it's looking a lot bigger to me so I wanted to show you guys. Been here a lot in the past but it stopped bothering me and if my nipples themselves aren't puffy then the contours aren't absurdly bad.

First off last year. Compare too this if you want:

Straight on NOW:

Left vs right:

Most noticeable when I bend over:

With a shirt on. I'd say the average Joe couldn't tell :)

All in all I just kinda ignore it. it get's in the way and hurts at times, but I'm not gonna let this slow me down. I'l get surgery eventually but can't right now. Sorry if it's too many pictures

To be honest, its quite noticeable. Under a shirt, most people would probably never even observe it. However if you take your shirt off I think people may wonder why your chest looks like that. If you are considering surgery, you should technically only have to pay half for the operation, because the right side of your chest looks perfectly fine and wouldn't require anything.

Dude, I have the EXACT same thing. I'm a pretty fit guy and play hockey regularly but I find that I personally think mine`s fairly noticeable. I'm getting surgery in a month I think. I've had it for a few years too, now 21 and it bothers me quite a bit. Gonna post pics soon too if anyone wants to give me advice.

That is not a good question.

I could easily carry a pen or pencil in the fold under each breast so I think you look good.

The important question is not what anyone else thinks but how the condition is effecting your life. Only you can answer that.

If the condition troubles you, then it is bad and you need surgery.

If it is something you can easily ignore, then obviously it is not too bad.

It all comes down to your attitude and self image.

Image isn't usually the issue, it's pain. I really enjoy lying on my stomach when resting or sleeping and sometimes my one breast hurts so bad it feels like there's a small blade poking me in the chest. But it's still a cosmetic procedure so I'd have to front surgery. And I can't get surgery done now as I'm still in school and competing as an athlete. I just like to get other opinions after growth periods since it's so unstable. Thanks though.

One way possible to get it covered is to go the "pain route" as that may be covered. I would also see a endocrinologist since your situation has not stabilized.

If you comfortable with it then you don't need the surgery.

@ blackman- Get letrozole. It is a very strong anti aromatase drug that will knock your estrogen levels down to nothing. If you gyno is new/still active ( painful and ichy) this option may work for you.
