  • Had expensive surgery... Now I'm flat busted!
Not sure about that one, but I used the 974 http://www.underworks.com/998.html for chest compression.  It's cotton on the outside with spandex panels inside... Great product.  My PS was so impressed that he said he would start recommending it to other gyne patients.

I am currently using the 974  (2.5 weeks post op). It is pretty good....it was hard to get into it the first two weeks because of the pain in raising up the arms and getting the spandex panel stretched but it gives good overall support and feels more natural now that I can put it on

For the first 2 weeks I recommend http://www.underworks.com/990.html it is similar to the deisgnveronique thing without shoulder straps
And then the 974 is better.

I have evaluated many garments over the years and prefer the ones that Design Veronique modified for us.  To get the results seen on my site, all of my patients have used these garments.

The After Gynecomastia Surgery Vest can be a powerful tool for recovery.  How long to wear the garment depends on the problem to be treated, what was done, skill of the surgeon, how you heal, and other factors.

The timing of the Stage One After Gynecomastia Surgery Vest and Stage Two After Gynecomastia Surgery Vest can be important. I prefer to individualize the timing for compression for each of my own patients.

Hope this helps,

I was thinking of ordering a couple of underworks 990 for post-op and now i saw this thread. I already have 3 underworks 997, so how different is a 974 compared to 997? Is the garment comfortable from inside? coz the 997 was very irritating and also used to compress my stomach causing me difficulty in breathing.

About the size, my present chest size is 40 inches. so after the surgery it might become 37 inches, should i order medium or large?

one more thing, did u guys order single layer 990 or double layer one?
