info on scar aesthetics

i have what has been called a mild case of gynecomastia. i have a surgeon and am almost ready to make the call to set-up the appointment.

my biggest concern is scarring around my nipples. i am fair-skinned and am worried about how it will look in the future. does anyone have any close-up shots, or can anyone give me a good sense of what to expect?

also, how quickly can one go back to work?
